    5 story wood building - issues?

    I am designing a 5 story wood framed building. Are there any unique issues or special code requirements I need to consider when designing the 5 story building? If vertical settlement of the wood framing is an issue, how do you prevent it or justify it is acceptable? Thanks, Jonny
