I'd like to create a company "Left Border Bar" from a text file so it is available for all users on the NX customization server.
What is the extension for that file?
Does it follow the same text arrangement as other toolbars?
Is there any example shipped with NX11 ?
Thanks.
D.
NX85 had that possibility to set/unset the text below the icons for each selected toolbar (see attached).
Anyone knows where to find that option in NX11?
Our contractor is requesting a file less than 100Mb in size to re-import in his plant software Aveva.
Fully detailled assembly required. Any idea on how to proceed ?
PS: a Step file is far above 200Mb...
PS2: please do not even talk about de-featuring - we expect a one-mouse-click action here.
Is there a way to permanently resize the on-screen menus (they always come back as a single horizontal strip after resized - see attached pic)?http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=72b056f2-37eb-4cf0-84ca-6cc013c1ca81&file=rmb.jpg
In which NX application is this icon used?http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=aad18418-0f99-4fb1-b68f-d9bbc8f3690b&file=blank_nesting_parallelogram_bounding_box.2s.white.jpg
Some here are challenging me with Solidworks latest release instead of NX10 in terms of productivity increase.
We currently deal smoothly everyday in NX with our steel constructions assemblies ranging from 1000 to 10000 unique parts and several thousands more occurences of them in sub-assemblies...
Long time I am curious about the use of those two buttons Maximize / Minimize at the right upper corner of the NX Screen window... Minimizing the current windows and I now see the NX Background picture !? Any interest in that ?
Selecting a drafting view -> View Style -> Base Tab : the Load Check Box is gray out...
How do I get this check box available so to be able to browse and reference another part for the drafting view ?
Do you guys have any idea what setting controls the solid eges thickness - I like the ones from left in the picture but cannot figure out where it was once set...http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=5fec3abe-d65a-4326-90ba-576d4710f651&file=EDGES_THK.jpg
Have any of you seen this before: sometimes, for unokwn reasons, NX is selecting the opposite end of a sketch curve while in Inferred Dimensioning...
I have attached a illustration herewith...
