This just started happening: During login to Teamcenter Navigator, the following FILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM error message appears: "File Client Cache Is Not Enabled", which I OK.
After I launch NX, these messages pop up:
1) "Error detected during FMS initialization. The FCC client was unable to...
I have defined a deformable part, which I am trying to deform in an assembly context four assy levels above the part model. However, when I try to do this, I get the error message:
"Unable to deform because deformed parents of component exists"
Can anyone tell me what exactly this means, and...
I am using NX5 in native mode. The File>Eport>STEP203 command fails to produce a correct .stp file. Apparently it can no longer find the source component files of my assembly. I set search folders in NX long ago using File>Options>Assembly Load Options... and recently checked them. Assemblies...
I have I-deas 12NX (Artisan). Used to be able to generate PDF file using I-DEAS PDF Printer as printer selection. For some reason, I always had to launch Adobe Acrobat Distiller first (AcroDist.exe), with PrintOptimized as Job Option selection.
Recently, this stopped working. The print job...
Problem: Cannot sign in to My Navigator after launching Teamcenter
Error message: Unable to bind to server running on localhost:1572
Circumstance: Teamcenter server was shut down over weekend in order to install new Data Switch for all network servers. Immediately following, problem occured...
Dumb question regarding Teamcenter: If we have various kinds of cad files other than NX (such as Autocad dwgs or SolidWorks models) that require revision control, can Teamcenter be configured to manage them effectively?

I cannot seem to get Deformable Parts to work. After defining the part with deformable features in Modeling, when I go to the assembly and attempt to Deform it, I get ALL KINDS of grief, such as: "An attempt was made to associate an object with a second other part" (???), and this...
When I try to import an existing NX assembly into a new .prt model file, it says this may not be done. You kidding me??? A NATIVE NX assembly and component model files cannot be brought from a remote directory into a Teamcenter-launched session of NX5? That can't be right. Help - thomasleeclark
I've tried to solve this on my own, and I give!
When I create an assembly, even though I add components in my preferred order, the parts list always reflects a different Item ordering. Apparently, the CALLOUT properties attribute controls this column. When I manually change the values of this...
Dumb question: When using NX5 without Teamcenter, MUST an assembly file and its component model files all be in the same directory? This seems to be the case, but it's really inconvenient. If component .prt files can reside in a different directory, how do I set this up?

Stumped! I have created numerous drawing and sheet templates using NX5 "native". How do I import these templates into the Teamcenter environment? I don't want to have to create them all over again! (login: infodba)

Suddenly, I can't login to Teamcenter. Appears to be a problem at the remote license server.
First, after a long wait, I get the error message: Unable to bind to server running on localhost: 1572
If I try again, error message is: POM not started
Try a third time, error message is: Teamcenter...
