    pressure regulator/back pressure regulator

I am looking for a control valve supplier, able to deliver diafragm operated control valves. objective: to control the pressure of a nitrogen/oil filled vessel A, so it follows the pressure in another vessel B. if the pressure in vessel B rises,a N2 supply line (20bar) fills vessel A through a...

    oil leak gulf of mexico

just some open topic... being an engineer, how would you go about to seal off a leaking well @ 1500m depth. try to get Redair to get into a divesuit, convincing him the depth is kinda exagerated ? Any bright idea's ?

    unbalance sensitivity

would a casted impeller on a single wheel, overhung compressor be (less, equal, more) sensitive to unbalance due to fouling, compaired to same compressor but with machined impeller (less required balancing holes/weights)?

    sollubility ammonia

I am looking for some data about the solubility of ammonia into water, with regards to pressure and temperature of the mixture.only thing I could find was for atmospheric conditions and up to 60 degC.I am interested for temperatures up to critical temp of ammonia and pressures up to 50 bar.

    orifice plate versus venturi tube

in a pump installation, where the flow is measured in discharge line, using an orifice plate, would it be benificial to replace orifice plate by venturi tube? less system back pressure=less pump energy required... Could the losses one versus the other be expressed in percentage?

    impeller

I am looking into the possibility to build a vacuumunit out of a submersible pump and an ejector. As it is suppose to be a hobby project, ejector, volute chamber and impeller would be casted out of fiber/epoxy.As a centrifugal pump builds up velocity in its impeller and convert velocity into...
