    Testing Tension Bolts

    The special inspector said that he has to test 5-bolts from every lot and that three of which ONLY has to pass. These are A325 tension bolts. The 60% passing seems very high to me. What do you think?

    Bearing Capacity of 95% compacted fill

    We need to place a spread footing on a 95% compacted fill. The EOR requires 5000 psf. I am getting conflicted information.
