What is the best way to define and evaluate the angle of attack as it pertains to Bridge Scour? I have searched online, but I'm hoping somebody here can clarify it for me a little more.

I'm currently running a HEC-RAS (ver. 4.0) model. The model has about 5 plan files at the moment. There is nothing overtly exquisite about the model. I am able to export GIS data for all plan files except 1. I keep getting a "Run-time error 9: Subscript out of range."

Does anybody know good methods to import GIS labels into cad? For instance, I have imported street centerlines from a GIS shapefile. I would like to bring in the labels also so that I don't have to manually label them.

I was wondering if anybody had any experience in calculating the "Subcatchment Width" parameter for use with EPA-SWMM. The SWMM manual suggests using the ratio of the subcatchment area to the overland flow length (or an average value, thereof). Does anybody know of any other methods...
HEC-HMS (using ver. 3.2) creates a .dss file that is usually quite large (77 MB). If you try to send a HEC-HMS model to somebody electronically, it seems that you have to send this large dss file also, as it contains important data.
Does anybody know a way to reduce the size of this .dss file...
