It is still unclear if no details for the PSV is available, could the discharge piping be designed assuming max. back pressure ( P1 for tail piping ) as 10% of set pressure and exit pressure as atm.

Due to non avilability we have to fabricate a 10"x12" reducer from schedule 40, A53 pipe.
Will it be acceptable as per B31.3 if the sample is proof tested as per 304.7.2
