I am looking for some good reference material for calculating explosion forces of a gas, i.e. hydrogen. Obviously pressure will be a function of the containment vessel size, which can be calc'd with a known force. For a given mass of explosive material, is there a formula to calculate force...
I seem to be getting mixed answers on choosing a gasket material to meet NEMA 4x and 12 requirements, along with outdoor exposure, sunlight but I need to keep costs down. Viton is out of the question. I am caught between vinyl nitrile or neoprene. Anyone thoughts?
Does anyone know where I can find "hammertone" material? I think that is what it is called. Being used as a reflector material to diffuse light. I believe it is aluminum and essentially has a dimpled surface appearance.
I am looking for any information that quantifies how to make driver diaphragms using cloth impregnated with phenolic. Anything on how to determine properties after the forming process. I know the raw phenolic properties and the cloth spec. Any good reference information would be good.
