I'm a user of MSC.Software Apex and I would be very happy to find some other user and share doubts, bugs. I see that there isn't a dedicated forum and i was wondering if the software isn't much used.
I believe it is a really interesting software with lots of pro, and some cons...
For a long time has been solidworks policy to charge a fee of 500 euro for a return to maintenance. Now my Var told me that from the new year the policy will change and to return to maintenance we shall pay all the month all months unmaintained.

Running a 80k shell elements model in MSC Nastran 2007 on Windows X64 with SOL101 I've noticed the following problem:

I've many useful sheets on Mathcad format made on my previous work and I can't use now for lack of license.
I would like to know if there is an open source or a cheaper commercial software that can read and use MathCad file.

Using MSC Nastran 2007. With the PARAM,SRCOMPS,YES I could have the strength ratio written on F06 file but I didn't arrive to have the same result on the OP2 file.
I would like to plot the Strength ratio, so there is anybody that know how to have this result in the OP2?
