    rotary to linear converter

    I need a way to convert rotary motion to linear motion just like a rack and pinion, but it can't be a rack and pinion or a ballscrew. Anybody have any ideas.

    electro/mechanical control of pneumatic proportional valve

    Need a way to control a large orifice proportional poppet with a microprocessor. Must have linear actuation of approx .400" and develop 6N. Anyh ideas? Thanks
