I am reverse engineering an internal involute spline and I am unsure what it is, it doesn't seem to be a DIN or ANSI design.
I believe it may be JIS?? It is a Komatsu part. My first question is: Is there a way to quickly identify a spline dp/MOD and pressure angle similar to identifying a gear...
I am in the process of reverse engineering a spline.
this is what I know so far
module is 2, it has 24 teeth, it is the male part, the od measures 49.5MM, the minor dia is 45.25MM
This is where i get stumped, I don't know what din standard it is.
I am used to reverse engineering ansi splines, i...
I used to use the material table in the assembly enviroment to automatically drive information into the draft.
For example, I would call out a casting number as the material.
It now looks like I can no longer do this in ST4 unless I am missing something. Any else run into this?
Ok,
I dont like to rant on forums but ST is really starting to get on my nerves. I have always disliked the docking undocking feature of the edgebar or whatever it is these days. now its drivin me nuts! what is going on here, it blocks half my screen, and the only way to get rid of it is to...
I have a problem. When in draft mode, if i am adding a suffix or prefix, and the mouse cursor moves off of the dialog box for the suffix/prefix, solid edge then thinks you are overiding the dimension and whatever input is typed is now in the dimension overide
i have attached a screenshot
we need a 3rd party dft to pdf converter, using the full version of solid edge is out of the question and the free viewers and free 2d do not have this capability. any suggestions on what to use?
can i change the scale or density of the hatch in an assembly drawing or draft? some of the parts look correctly hatched others you can barely see the lines they are spaced so far apart when i print it
hi
i just started using the "save as pdf" feature in SE. the problem is i use autocad style colors (black background/white object lines). when i save it as a pdf, the white lines do not show up, even if i set it to save as black and white. i would like all the lines to print black, but...
