If I remember correctly, the Zn-C batteries contain some
Hg used to protect the Zn from corrosion during storage.

I have read somewjere that algae can be grown for startch or oil -- depending on the groth medium.
Single cell organism grow and mutate faster.
Wouldn't be possible to develop a strain and method
for growing algae for fuel ?

Today I have spent one hour searching for the data sheet
of an IC made originally by MOTOROLA in 1996. I wasn't able to find out who makes it now?
Could anyone who knows the IC market please post here the
"family tree " of the IC manufacturers or any help you can

two new 4 pos. "data transfer switch"-es,unknown and unmarked MFR,( contains 4 pos,multipole rotary switch only, used to switch monitor and keyBd to 3 PC-s, separate mouses) failed after few days:
Most of the times after switching PC, the mouse don't work on one computer until it is rebooted...
There are circuit solutions some of us are not aware of:
(Numbers are first approximation )
1.)For a few inputs and outputs with millisec. response
time: embedded processor e.g. PIC, 8045 etc.
2.) For 8-14 inputs and 8 outputs, simple combinatorial
and/or up to 8 FF and microsec response: GAL...
