I am building an aluminum toolbox and would like to eliminate as much weld as possible for cost reasons. Are the adheasives strong enough to use without any machanicial fasteners? Any suggestions on design of the joints?
I just cleaned up my pc (complete reformat) and installed SW2005 as a new install.

I have about 230 gal of 25 year old heating oil that needs to be used up. Can I use this to fuel an older diesel tractor? I can blend it with some fresh fuel to "freshen" the whole batch.
My recollection from school is that both of these are essentially the same fuel.

My subscription is not up todate, so I can't get it direct from SW. SW04 only has a limited number of shapes in the default lib.
I need to weld some 304 stainless to AR steel.
I plan to use ER70S-6 wire and 75/25 gas.
This will be a fillet weld and will not be a load bearing weld.
I have been told that this will crack and fail, What are your thoughts?
I have a 30mm hex shaft turning at 650 rpm. The torque varies from about 339 ft-lbs to 1357 ft-lbs. Normal running torque should be about 450.
The shaft fails at the lowest torque. The latest failure is continuous spiral with fractures about 1/4 inch apart.
