Can anyone give guidance on whether the serial number protion of a declaration of conformity can be hand written in. We use a "Stock" DoC and would like shipping to write the Serial # in when woth rest of documentation.

Can I power up vfd without a load attached?
I need to verify paramters/set drive parameters to a panel I recieved but to not have the motors to attach as a load.

Looking at IEC 60204 9.1.1 states that where control circuits are supplied from an ac source control transformers shall be used.
Typically on a 380-415V+N supply I will pull my 220-240Vac single phase by using a one of the phases + N.

Most turbo applications seem to use a "stock" exhaust manifold. I believe the reasoning is to keep the turbo as close to the head as possible to aid in the spooling of the turbo.
