If i have a insulating material with a TI of 130C for example and at one point a copper conductor touches it exceeds 130C, would the temperature at the insulating material exceed 130C? or would it be something less than 130C.

We have some copper pieces silver plated and the plating becomes tarnished when exposed. Is this normal? Does it effect the conductivity of the electrical joint when applied.

We typically have to interupt breakers with a X/R between 6.6 and 8 with X and R in series but our lab gives us around 11.25. Which one is more severe on the breaker interruption a higher X/R or a lower one?

Have a customer who wants to operate a Coil in an extreme input voltage range (13 VAC to 190 VAC ). The design must have no DC or caps in it. Any ideas, a multi-stage coil design via a relay/resistor arrangment?
