Hello all,
I have an architect that wants my office to use Revit on a job they are doing. I am very unfamilair with this software and could use any feedback out there on the product. We currently use AutoCAD LT 2007 for all applications.
For a boiler plant with a BMS controlled differential bypass valve at the end of the loop and a Differential pressure sensor across the supply and return before the control valve. The loop consists of baseboard radiation with control valves on the return, fan coil units with a hot water coil...
I have a hot water system and pumps with VFD control. At the end of one of the loops I have a bypass with an automatic control valve and a pressure differential sensor before the bypass between the supply and return. both supply and return piping is 1-1/2" copper> How do I calculate the DP...
Does anybody have any suggestions for underground ductwork materials. What type of material is best. How do you prevent a condensation problem within the ductwork. Are there any useful guidelines for the overall design of the underground system. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to size an expansion tank for a hot water system at 180 deg water.
What exactly is min. fill pressure?
How do I find max operating pressure?
is minimum operating pressure at tank equal to min fill pressure?
How would I go about calculating the NPSHA for a pump in a closed loop chilled water system? The fluid is a 40% propylene glycol water solution @ 54 degrees 65 ft head and 137 gpm. Do I need any other information?
On a chilled water system I have installed a pump which is designed to 65 ft head @ 137 GPM on the pump manufacturers curve. I am getting 46 Ft head 91 GPM and a pressure differential of 20 psi (34 In 54 Out) from the pump. It's a Taco 3009 KV series pump @ 1760 RPM and the inlet outlet piping...
