Is there a simple way to calculate the COG of a 3D structure? I am using STAAD's COG command, but they only take into consideration the properties - not the externally applied loads.
I am modeling a mat and am using their automatic spring support generator. I have to manually assign however tension-only or compression-only commands to some of those supports. Any way to do this automatically? Also, can you use multi-linear springs with the auto-mat command?
