    Live tooled lathe vs. Mill

    We make disk shaped parts with both face holes and side holes. I am trying to decide when it is better to use a live tooled lathe, or a mill/drill center. Can some one share some of the factors they considered in making the same decision? Is there any "rule of thumb" from experience...
