I would like to be able to assemble hardware parts (hinges, screws, etc) to wood components and remove material on the part where they were installed.
The hardware would be the smart part driving the material removal in the mating part.

Does anyone know how to get excel to automatically highlight the row where the cursor is while you're scrolling? This woul help in focusing your attention on the information in that row while you are scrolling through a spreadsheet.

I detail miscallaneous steel and often need to show concrete base or footing with the steel structure.

How common is it to have a freelancer prepare shop drawings off-site? What should be asked to indicate an individual is capable besides his/her previous work? Is it better to have an in-house detailer?

What books would you highly recommend that cover fundamentals for detailing miscallaneous steel and structural? I have spent a little time searching my local library and college, but, find it hard to believe that better instructional books have not been written.
I created in Excel an Item Master list (column A).
Column B and on represent the model numbers with part quantity values. See sample below.

I switched to ver 2000i2 from 20. I am finding the upgrade is seriously taxing my CPU. My task manager is showing the graph for CPU reaching over 100 very often. Speed is slow for retrieving and regenerating and rotating barely works.
