    BIodiesel

To convert degummed soybean oil into methyl esters, we are using methanol and sodium methylate. We are creating an excessive amount of soapstock as of lately. We believe our methanol is high in water, killing our catylst and creating soap. Can anyone verify this?

    Anyone using Biomass boilers?

My company is looking into using biomass in our boilers. The biomasses we would like to use as soybean oil, bio diesel, soapstock, glycerine, fatty acid, lecithin, and any other soybean derivitive. I was just wondering if anyone is already using these alternative fuels. Thanks!
