    Soldering FM Brass

    What happens to the Fe in FM Brass as the result of soldering? It's been too long since Materials Science class. I know that the Fe content is very low but I am wondering if the Fe comes out of solution and migrates to the surface of the part that I am soldering. Just a guess. Jerry
