    uv energy detector

    I am looking for any advice on how to measure uv ( ultra-violet )energy in the 254 mm wavelenght energy ,whatever sensor used will degrade fairly rapidly I was told . Is there any system that will be immune to the energy and is cost effective .My aplication is water purification .
