Dear Gents, may I receive your comments
about reason to select V-Notch ball valve for an on-off
application instead of a regular one?
V-notch would have longer lead time and cost.
However maybe operation of it can be easier, less-torque etc.
Thanks for sharing.
I was wondering about lining procedure of different valves.
Is there a norm or guide that you can share? I could never find one.
Beside Class 300 pfa lined valves are not common or limited to 6".
Anyone could advice why there is a size limit?
I am trying to understand the major 2 solutions for coker line : ball and plug valves.
Beside licensor specs, does plant switch from ball to plug? Or they follow initial specs
which were prepared by the licensors?
It looks like biggest advantage of plug valve is inline maintenance capability...
Dear Experienced ones,
I was asked to supply an air valve to be used an deep sea water discharge pipeline.
Valves to be used along the pipeline thus air valve to operate undersea.
Acc. to me, I never saw such application and can not imagine that there is a design
like this.
Did you ever see...
What could be the consequences of choked flow by a ball control valve?
Valve to be used by butane gas with a silencer to decrease the noise.
Inlet pipe size 24", outlet is 32", valve to be sized for 16"
Does anyone has a literature for high temperature hcl application?
A:Temp: 400ºC to 600ºC ; B:Max Pressure = 5Bar ; C: corrosive internal condition : gas of 5%HCl- Water – Hydrogen
I try to select correct material but for such elevated tempratures, I could not find any source.
