As a UG user since the 80's, it was hard enough to keep from reaching for the Transform button to move or copy, but why couldn't NX keep the move/copy pick choice at the end? Countless undo's because the last one was set for copy, or trace lines, or 12 copies when intention is a simple move etc...

How do you remove items from a reference set? NX6 has a completely different menu from NX5, and I see nothing resembling its function.

NX 5.0.4.1 It seems each time I select Transform or Hide, I need to reset the filter. Transform defaults to Dimension, Hide defaults to CSYS. Why doesn't it go back to No Selection Filter or at least remember the last used filter for that operation and or how can I set it to default to No...

I want to add draft in both directions on a single face. Divide face splits the face into two or more, but when I add draft, it selects the Face of Divide Face, but adds draft to the entire face. Any way around this?... Wait for 6? see jpeg NX 5.0.4.1

Is there a way to get at least CGM files out of Illustrator (CS 11) to import into NX4? DXF works... sort of. Much rather have something that didn't require re-creation (extruding solids) I heard that Ideas was able to get a reasonable representation of an ai file that looked grand. Thanks... ph
