Our offshore natural gas plant have 50MMscfd of CO2 which we burn out everyday. I heard about CO2 can be converted back to CH4 or C2H6 by using H2, heat and some catalyst.
I wonder that is it practical or economical? I know H2 is much expensive, so can we obtain H2 from H2O electrolysis or else...

We have problem in summer with propane condensers (Air Colled H/X), outlet temp is over than design little bit( 115==> 125F) because inlet air temp is higher (90==>105F). What 'd we fix it? I heard there are some chemical that can reduce temp of propane or increase fan speed will help ?

I have Air Cooled H/X and I measure velocity at top of bay, is it face velocity as state in data sheet ??? If not, where is face velocity ? What is the relation of between total air flow and aif flow per fan because I have4 fan but multiply 4 with air flow/fan is not equal to total air flow?

I understand that it's the range of flow ? for example max flowrate (100%open) = 25 ft3/min and has turndown ratio = 150:1 .It means the accurate minimum flow of this valve = 25/150 = 0.167 ft3/min, right ?

In oil pipeline we use mineral wool ( K=0.038 ) as an insulator but it doesn't work well. I 'ld like to know that are there any insulators that better than this wool.
For short pipeline we can heat the oil and insulate the pipe. I understand that the maximum Temp that we can heat is Boiling Point of Oil, right ?
For insulation material, I know the Mineral wool has K=0.038.
Do they have any better insulator ?
Or have the heating medium and heat it through...
