I'm fighting with convert to sheetmetal in nx 8.5. After hours of analysing I found out, that at the imported models some plain faces at flanges are b-surface types what will later after thickening fail on convert to sheetmetall. Can I convert them to planar faces or do I have to receate them...

I can defined my own user defined expression, ok,
they are also offered in the PNT under user expression,ok
all userdefined expressions will be shown, hmm
is there any way to hide userdefined expressions from that list,
prefix or a suffix in...

I'm trying to process some pmi workflows in nx7.5.5. I have converted a feature dimensions from a sketch to pmi. Doing a master model drawing from that guy the inherited feature dimensions get retained in the drafting view. - What went wrong?

I have played a little with the new partmodule in nx8.01.
Using help - I got it working. Question: In the output-> I can only select the result as geometry not the supplying features - Is this the limit at this time? To get the feature back in the main part.-

I have looked a little bit deeper at the new feature pattern.
In what situation does the simple option in pattern methode help ? The variational option does the job every time - is simple option obsolete?
