How do I create an assembly which contains holes which are created at the assmbly stage. I want to do this without affecting the original single parts which make up the assembly. I know that I can 'paste with link' single parts but how do I make that work with a Sub_assembly
I want to make a breakout in a view but only I only want the breakout to remove an area of 1 of the several parts in that view. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I have a group of 15 holes on a pitch circle diameter with a constant angle. How can I parameterize the sketch to enable diameter of hole and PCD and angle changes (If all this is possible) Also is it possible to change the number of holes within the sketch with a parameter.
I have a model which I move using the kinematics to check for clearances etc. I have a crash and need to extract a surface from the crashed part to make a clearance envelope.
When I try to extract a surface it position is in the original premoved position. What do I need to do to get the surface...
Hello
My model is a complete assembly all in a CATPart. In my drawing I have a view into which I want to add a new part. I have tried to use 'view-modify links' but this only seems to allow removal of items. Can anyone tell me how to add a part.
Thanks in advance

Hi Could somebody advise me is there is any way to update point tables after they have been created. Is there any way of linking the table and the space point.
