When creating a PMI custom symbol, it appears black in Vis, but not black in NX.
In Vis, select right click Appearance Properties and change the foreground colour and the symbol
changes to any colour.
What controls this in NX so we don't have to manually change the symbol.

How do you remove a part from a part family?
If the line from excel is removed, and the reference is cut from Teamcenter is there another step to remove references?
I am looking for a NX Open program to open assemblies from a list of files, fully load, create facets at the assy level and save the file. Is this simple code? Does anyone have something similar they could post? Thanks.

Using nx6 and TC8, anytime any user exports step, iges, dxf etc, TCe and nx must be restarted. Connection is lost.
Anyone know a setting to fix this issue? Should exports
be done from TC and not NX?

I need to determine how to open JT files from Pro-E into NX using Teamcenter.
We currently have JT files in each Item Revision created with an overnight script. We need to open up an assy (JT files) of Pro-E data along side NX6 data. How would I do this?

Is anyone currently changing the quantity field for
non-geometry components to AR in the PSE (Teamcenter environment) for non-geometric components that are called up in an assembly?
I found a PR in the GTAC documentation that describes the process but have not tested it yet.

We are currently testing NX4 and are experiencing a really bad crash. (UG closing fatal error)
To reproduce - start a new file, enter modeling, select Insert - design feature - Thread, UG crashes.
Anyone have the same problem. (32bit xp - NX4.0.2.2 MP3)
