I want to cut around a solid base with variabe sections.I can do with constant section using command "cut-sweep".

How to reverse engineer a miniature engine casing.I want to model in Pro/e .I ve heard the best solution is either to use CMM or scanner to take the dimensions.Does anyone can explain the scanner or CMM method.By the way it is a single cylinder ,two stroke glow ignition engine.

My proe 2000i gives the error "out of envirnment space".i ve tried by setting the initial environment to 4096.but i still get the error.This started happening after installing solid edge ver 6.0.
