I am considering using this op amp in a power supply design. OPA544T

The specs say it has a 2A minimum output current. Can someone clarify what "minimum" stands for.
Thanks, Mario
The above circuit represents my current configuration. The circuit is used to measure a ± 10.0 VDC signal.
R2 prevents my circuit from floating and provides a good high impedance.
R3 and R4 is a voltage divider that reduces the ±10.0 Volt signal.
Someone recommended on this forum, that...
Greetings,
I've been experiencing sparodic op amp failure (shorting the power supplies is one failure) in one of my designs. The op-amp (OPA 2277) is being used as a buffer. I was made aware that it is possible to that the inputs are getting a voltage before the power supply pins are. What...
Hi,
My application consist of two parts. The first part of the circuit puts a 0-20mA signal through a 500 ohm resistor for an equivalent voltage of 0 to 10 VDC. The second part of the circuit consists of a voltage divider that accepts a ±10 VDC signal. My circuit is part of a larger data...
Hello Everyone,
I am fairly new to circuit layout. I've designed a simple strain gage amplifier with a 0 to 10 vdc output. The circuit operates as design with one problem. When put my hand near the sensor wires I get a shift in voltage.
1. What causes this?
2. How can I fix it?
3. What...
What would cause two seperate op-amps to behave different?
Problem: I have an instrumentation amplifier configured in the following manner. The first stage amplifies a differential input by G=25. eg, 0.020V * 25 = 0.5V
The next stage takes the difference of the two signals and amplifies by G...
Hello Everyone,
I am currently working on instrumentation amplifier using digital pots to adjust trim, offset and span. Most digital pots are rated at a ±5V terminal voltage. My question is how do I interpret this?
Does it mean I can put a -5 and 5 on each end of the terminals max, since 5...
I am currently designed a simple instrumentation amplifier "INA125" from Burr-Brown. I am powering with a 7662 charge pump to provide a bi-polar voltage. My design specification is that the amplifier operate from 12-24 VDC. The INA125 operates to a max of +/-18 VDC and the charge...
Aside from electrical connections what are the differences between a 3 wire current trasmitter and a 2 wire system. Which one is preferred in industry? Is it dependent on application?
