I have a precision steel bolt M10 x 1.25 and it has a raised letter q on the head. I'm fairly sure this is Japanese. Can anyone tell me if this relates to the material strength or is it something else?

First time using this software. If one creates a simple circuit with a pump driving a motor. Then altering the pump volumetric efficiency should effect the pump output flow rate. Not in this software, at least it does not effect the steady state volume flow rate.

8" SPO CF SR 5K SCH 100 HXL-255
8" SPO CF WN 5K SCH 100 HXL-255
I have no idea what this means apart from (guessing) SCH 100 means pipe schedule 100). Is there some sort of standard for this stuff?

I'm having a bit of a problem with the ordinate of a S/N diagram, it says that it is maximum stress, which I find a bit strange. I can understand this if the stress ratio =min/max =-1 then the mean stress will be zero and hence the alternating stress amplitude will be max stress / 2...
