Can sulphidation occur in 9 Chrome Metal. Does 9 Chrome metal has copper in it.
We are seeing some flakes like deposit on the furnace tubes. These flakes glow in bright off white color when the furnace is running. I believe it might a product of sulphidation. Our tubes are 9 chrome.

Does any one have experienced that improper cleaning of the scale deposit from the tubeside of an exchanger resulted in a pressure drop higher than it was before cleaning ?
Just wanted to confirm if a simple ratio ( old delta p / new delta p ) can be used to prorate the pressure drop in a line for a new flowrate.
new dp = ( Q2 / Q1 ) * old dp.
