New to this program.
I am trying to run an old thermal analysis created by my predecessor, and it fails after few seconds of running. There is a note "Analysis Failed" next to design scenario name, and no more info.
How I can look at what's wrong?

I've got an old drawing with a sketch picture added to a sheet format. Now I need to move that picture to a sheet. When I double click on it to activate and "CTRL+C", and then try to paste it on a sheet, SW copies entire sheet. I cannot even delete that picture. Picture manager allows to resize...
When I try to insert one assembly into another assembly I get error message "You cannot insert a document template into another document". It works well with oter assemblies, but not with that one. Any idea what the problem is?
For presentation purpose, I've colored model surfaces. But surfaces of mirrored part has not changed. Is there an option to copy surface colors while mirroring part?

Strange things happend to me lately.
I open a drawing, rename it, then delete all drawing views and bring drawing views of new model. But when I check references, there are references to the old model. Poltergeist or weird SW setup? Any Ideas how to fix it?

When I try to assign mass properties to assemblies thru Mass Properties dialog box, center of gravity moves out of the model.

I cannot adjus cell height of a Hole Table on a drawing. SW does not let me decrease cell height neither by drag nor by entering number. When I try to type cell height, prompt requires me to enter number greater or equival of what I already have.Table is getting bigger then sheet format.

I've edited DWG file in DWGEditor and unfortunately saved it. Now that file cannot be opened by AutoCAD anymore, only by DWGEditor. AutoCAD gives "unhandled error" and crashes.
Anyone have any experience with something like that?
It looks like when mates are edited, mate alignment cannot be changed in 2005 (icons in dialog box are grey).

I design printed circuit boards in solidworks, but all information about component locations is in autocad (dxf, dwg). Inserting aoutocad as an object makes solidworks inoperable- to many sketch elements.
Is there any sane way to transfer this info?

I have several solids I've imported from Autocad thru IGES, and they have error symbols in feature manager. Tools/Check tells there is a General fault 1.
Is there any way to fix this problem or at least get rid of that error symbol?
