I see that on thread 794-330216 davefitz was involved in replacing a dissimilar material weld for Alstom's HP OTC with flanges. I have been asked to look at the same issue. Has a solution been found?

I'm trying to get a handle on the installed cost of a package boiler with the following specs:
output 150,000 lb/hr
Pres 200psig
temp 600F
fuel no 2 oil/gas
low NOx firing system.
I know it is a real guess but I want to know if it is $5, $20 or $50 million dollars.
Any help would be appreciated.
Generator is a 170 MVA, GE, 3600 RPM machine commissioned in 1957. Retorqued Generator Core Compression Flange Nuts in 2000. Generator lead box recently opened and a nut with a piece of the stud was found. End bells off and one of the 24 keybar nuts is gone!
