we will be acid-washing some pumps soon. what sorts of products help prevent the acid from tearing aparat the pumps? The acid will be in pretty low concentration.
I know that salinity is typically measured from chlorinity, but is it possible to use ppm of sodium?
Also, does anyone know where I could find good charts for the variance of the solubility product constant of CaCO3 with salinity, temperature and pH?

ASME 31.8 mentions conversions from lines previously covered by 31.4 into dual-use or gas service lines. Furthermore OPS regulations also discuss conversions from liquid to gas service. I can't really find any discussion on the opposite conversion (from lines covered by 31.8 to a 31.4 line)...
