    The Use of Explosion Proofs Motors on Distortion Supplies

    Can we start a discussion about the use (and safety) of fixed speed explosion proof motors on voltages supplies polluted with harmonics ? We could also extend it to the use of explosion proof motors fed from VFDs. If somebody kicks it off I will pick up the baton ! ICEMAN
