    lithium batteries

    Somewhere I have read that lithium batteries are prohibited on airlines…but lithium-ion batteries are pervasive in cameras and laptop computers. Also, I use lithium/ferric-sulphide cells [Eveready L91] in portable CD players. How do the TSA folks handle this for carry-on baggage?

    I attended a lecture on “Circuit Imbalances” where the presenter discussed a relationship where; e.g., in 3ø motors: Per-Unit Temperature Rise = 2 x (Per-Unit Voltage Imbalance)^2 Is this correlation referenced in an IEEE or NEMA standard or guide? The presenter was unaware of its origin.
