I was wondering if there are any stress relief or other heat treat requirements for hastalloy piping after welding. This is a new material for me. The piping is for chemical service essentially non-corrosive at moderate temperatures.

I have been tasked to write a welding procedure for 904L CRES. I have no experience with this grade. Does anyone know a Milspec or ASTM that this grade is manufactured to? My particular questions are welding parameters such as, preheat, filler, PWHT requirements.
While most welded pipe joint designs have a requirement for backout at fit-up, I need to know if it is required to maintain that requirement after weld completion and where this is written.
