Could anybody explain better way than SW Help what Geometry Pattern Option in Linear Pattern Feature means?

In order not to buy extra SW licenses we use eDrawings to plot detailed SW drawings.
When eDrawings open SW drawing with slddrw extension, parts are displayed with tangent edges visible even if their corresponding drawings were created with tangent edges hiden.

We just upgraded SW2006 to latest Service Pack 3.3
In Dialog Box for peart properties the whole section responsible for what shows on BOM ( part name, confog name or user specified) is totally gone.
In assy when you right click on part properties option for excluding it from BOM is gone too...
I spent a long time trying to find out this specific parameter but with no luck, I hope someone will be able to help me here ...

I work in SC have to use SW Explorer to copy my assys to my c: drive to do my designs.
The problem is SW Explores sees only one level in the assy structure and when I open it from my c: drive, deeper nested subasssemblies still refer to my network in NJ.

It's verry uncommon I guess but is it possible to insert in Sw any kind of landscape representations ( trees , shrubs etc.)?
If that's possible than what kind of obect it would have to be and where can I find some free samples?

How do I use my own settings for the Command Manager viewing assys made by my coworkers?
Settings for the Command Manager are saved with the model and when I open someone else's design, whole interface changes.

Anybody knows how to make a keyboard shortcut for dissolve.
Dissolve only appears when I right click on subassy but I could not find it in pull down menu to create a shortcut.
Please give me a hint.

I use part in the assy which is made by sweeping profile along path.
I would like somehow to show length of this sweep in feet in BOM.
Is that possible at all?

I made an envelope in the assy so it doesn't appear in Bill of Material but at the same time it doesn't show up in my assy drawing.
Right clicking does not change anything.

I do love SW , I work with 2003 version but I need some help on that one.

We use sometimes multiple sheets and I manually retype all the data.
