Can anyone point me to somewhere where i can get/see soem rough costs of PSV's? I know i could ring manufactures but that is very time consuming. I just want to get some ball park ideas for a few sizes.

I am trying to settle a slight difference of opinion here. The backpressure on a flowing PSV is made up of the superimposed BP ie:that caused by other valves flowing into the header system, plus the builtup backpressure caused by the valve itself flowing.

I know API520/521 basis its design on static pressures. But what does a standard type pressure gauge in a line show? Static pressure or total pressure. Do you have to use a more complex means to measure total P.
