    Velocity Limit for raw seawater in 6 Mo Stainless Steel

    Does anybody know of a reference for the maximum velocity limit of raw seawater in 6 Mo SS to ANSI B36.19? The material is ASTM A312 UNS S31254. All the generalised SS specs seem to recommend 7 m/s but this seems to be more for pipe stressing than corrosion/erosion.
