Can somebody enlighten me on which test pressure to govern during recertification of B31.3 and API 6A pipe..it is the working pressure of the pipe itself or 1.5 x maximum allowable working pressure? does any written code or standard to support on each?
It is an industry practice to use working pressure as a test pressure on some particular equipment like flow pipes and bends during re-certification period in oil and gas. But, was there written circular or specs to support this?
I recieved a 50psi vertical tank, it was U Stamp but the number of nozzles on the U1A is now less than what is installed. Now some of the nozzle have crack on weld and need to be repair. Where I go now for repair? can I satill regain the R stamp.
