Bonding natural rubber to 6061 aluminum extrusion. Using Chemlock adhesives.
Is there a surface treatment for the aluminum to roughen the surface prior to applying the adhesive? It would seem that a coarser surface finish is better for rubber adhesion than the smooth surface on the extrusion.

15.0 mm O.D., 2.25 mm wall, meets Japanese standard
STAM290GA or STAM35G-M.

I have a hydraulic assembly machine which currently utilizes a 5 inch bore x 48 inch stroke hydraulic cylinder operating at 750 psi (maximum pressure from pump) and approx 41 gpm.
