    Material composition of Scotch Brite!

Hello, does anybody know the material composition of Scotch Brite which is used for surface finish for steels, cleaning,...? We have encountered some unexplained dielectric failures of a Scotch Brite polished contact system in vacuum. An untreated system works perfectly. A rough idea would...

Change of magnetic properties of steel by thermal treatment!

Hello, Does stainless steel loose its non-ferromagnetic properties when exposed to temperatures up to 850°C (Brazing) for a period of several hours. Final use will be at low temperature. The steels we are looking in are 304, 310, 316, 321. Thanks

Searching non-magnetic low thermal expansion material!

Hello, I am looking for a non-ferromagnetic, maybe a steel type and brazeable material which has an expansion coefficient in an order of magnitude of 8-15ppm/K from 20°C to 800°C , as mean value, would be ideal. Has anybody any ideas? Thanks!
