    lighting circuits on a remote camp site are wired in 2.5mm and protected by 16A MCB's.is this correctly rated? some circuits only have 1 or 2 lights on it

    earth bed in a desert location

    i have to install an earth bed in a desert site,earth spikes only go down roughly a metre in depth.the client wants soil resistance to electrode reading of 4 ohms or less.tips for getting readings down to this without bentonite or anything similar?

    im in adesert location,the on site personnel took soil resistance reading, it came back 18.3 ohms.i thought this was acceptable(below 21ohms).client wants 4ohms max.we have no bentonite,i suggest creating earth bed(soil only 1mt deep before hitting rock).daily watering and linking out earth...

    VSD Transformer output voltage

    400v supply coming from generator to VSD transformer.output voltage is 230v and a reading of 374v was recorded.the client says this is due to 600v being supplied from 400v generator(which has 110% cut off).what is causing the abnormal voltage at VSD?transformer windings maybe?
