Can anyone tell me why Catia V5 can't save/export or open/import .sat files. What chances do i have to bring a .sat files into Catia V5 without an external converter?
You are wright jackk, been there done that, the .csv works darn well. I used it to import BOM in my drawings and despite the simpleness and the robustness of the INSERT TABLE and adequate adjustments seem to be, it could fulfill all my needs.It only needed a little bit of... touch.
Does somebody know why in v5r17 the tool path video preview works and in v5r18 this feature doesn't.
Is there something possible to do regarding this issue? Maybe there is somebody who stumbled upon this issue before on this forum but I'm to lazy to search :P.

Have you tried constrains? Try fixing the initial assembly and then constrain all that others that you put in afterward.
If I'm not mistaking the default origin of an assembly is the axis system of the first part that you put in.
P.S.: It all depends on how you start building the parts within...
