    PLC beginner... needs little help

Hello everyone, I'm really interested in playing with PLCs, i'm thinking of picking up a TECO GENIE II SG2, its relatively inexpensive. As for the power supply, instead of buying the TECO power supply, can I just use my laptop power adapter or a simple plugin 110VAC to 24VDC converter (like...

Siemens USB PC Adapter firmware upgrade

Sorry for the late reply, I am using S7-300. This cable I got from ebay, its not the original Siemens cable. However I just realized that it does not support Profibus and my PLC and HMI are connected through Profibus. Anyone have any idea as to how to modify the cable to work with profibus? Thanx

    Air Balancing in Pharma

Slynk, I havent completed it as yet, got side tracked by higher priority projects, and yes both the production rooms and corridors share the same AHUs. My logic behind setting return higher than supply is, if i reduce the supply dampers in each room to minimum and then open the corridor supply...

    Air Balancing in Pharma

We dont have any terminal boxes. For...

    Air Balancing in Pharma

Hi ChasBean1, thanx for replying Due to ridiculous amount of humidity outside we reduced the OA damper to about 5-10% and same with EA damper, so almost all of the air is returned at the moment. But do you think it makes sense to run return VFD at 55Hz and supply VFD at 45Hz?

    Air Balancing in Pharma

Hi everyone, I'm currently tasked with balancing air in a new pharma company and it would be great if someone can tell me if i'm on the right path. On the main manufacturing area, there are about 30 rooms, each room has most rooms have 1 to 3 supply air diffusers and 1 to 2 return grills...

Pressure difference between two classified rooms

I dont think anything is written on stone, but what they mainly look for is that you have differential pressure, and that air flows into the room when opened rather than out of the room. If you can show that by keeping the door opened the differential pressure is still + ( air going into the...
