    on AutoCAD 2006 we had to stop AutoCAD from trying to connect for updates. The icon is a small satellite which is locatd on te bottom right hand corner. Some firewall settings prevent AutoCAD from contacting Autodesk. Torkflite Novice truss design technician

    awesome, thanks to borgunit's LSP routine. I'm gonna see if I can incorporate a little scripting to bring up the LSP routine during startup to change attributes once and for all.
