I think this question is answered. OP has posted the question twice on the Siemens forum. The ends of the curves are not closed.

Are the section curves closed , end to end or is there a gap ? - Use the measure function and measure minimum distance from the end points. NX is very precise so if there is a gap, it needs to be very small for NX to "bridge" .

Is that second extrude a solid body and not a sheet body ? You have that option in the extrude dialog.

Open the Sketcher , start the reattach dialog , snap a new Origin Point. ( or the same) This should cure the message.

Once one learns how good the command finder is, it is exactly what i have been missing in other softwares... Do i need say MS/Word ...?

If you go Edit - Feature- Remove parameters you can "kill" the Pattern Geometry feature. The lines will then be totally non parametric and will not be visible in the part navigator.

I am not using the new sketcher yet. In Drafting, are these symbols still visible if you de-activate the sketch ?

Is this the real wireframe model you are asking about ? Or are you trying to learn methods to apply on real model ?

I assume the picture is an illustration to the question? Else you would do this specific model in 2 features, 1 extrude and 1 blend. There is a very old command Sheet from Curves, ( + 30 years old command , it will not be updated.) It will create all planar sheets in one go, but non associative...

I assume that you could use the "NX Algorithmic modeling" for this. ( i do not have the knowledge.)

Create a datumplane in the center of each pair ( The bisector plane) use the datum planes instead for the constraint. ( Touch/Align since it's 1 on 1) If you anyway are to write code for this, you would be using ootb functionality and full associativity. Regards, Tomas

NX plotting was inherited when UGS merged with SDRC in the beginning of the 2000's The reason it's "kind of special" is that it's built to work on many operating systems, Siemens/ UGS did support both Unix and Mac os at the time. I guess that Siemens keeps it but will not touch it anymore.

Have you tried to re-select the Origin curve ? In this case , it seems that maybe a Through Curves feature with the option Normal to end sections might do the job.
