The skylight is heavy steel structural
we have building with dimension 300 meter x100 meter the building has basement for whole area and 4 floor above basement on 50% of that area , remain part has 1 floor only above basement
I want to ask if we need settlement joint between the part with 4 floor and the remain part or not...

we have basement for building has 3 floors.
the area of basement is 300 meters by 200 meters.
foundation should be raft the ground water table is under natural ground level by 1.5 meter.
we suggest to make construction joint every 100 meter in two direction is that enough...

we have building with height 80 meter we made 20 modes.
after we run anlysis we have period for each mode.
for example for mode 2 persiod 3 second.
what is the refrence for checking the allowable for that period if it accepted or not?
we use ACI and ibc

sorry for being so late in respond this is the resualt which i get form safe programm.we check the load more than
10 times.
i think the stress is very high because the core at the edge of footing and we have settelment joint beside the core so we can not incease the raft...
but if we did not put material for bonding between old and new concrete
is that critical?
